Currently, I'm doing panel work for my first comic book, "Light of Baspheron", a queer romance story set in the fantastical Faewilds of Terra. I am fascinated by romance with non-human entities, such as Nymphs! They're just as integral to the Faewilds as the fae themselves. Nymphaea are ethereal metaphysical entities that evolved on Terra long before the first humans. This comic will be set in the same universe as my other WIP stories, "Taram". Updates and sneak-peeks come out every week.
Long term, I am working on original stories that all take place inside my own creation, The Taram Universe. (I'm still deciding how many of these stories will be books, and how many will be comics. I want to do as many comics as I can, so we'll see.) The first saga is called ā "The Dancer, The Dreamer & The Seer" ā.
⢠The first book, "Aether & The Sith" (342 CE), is a short anthology about the origins of a mythological character, The Solsith. The Sith transformed during her lifetime, and amongst other things, was able to gift incredible power to her followers... those who became known as the druids.
⢠The second is "Oath of the Pyre" (1179 CE), a story about the second reincarnation of The Solsith over eight-hundred years later. Aka, the life of a gifted runaway prince and two swordsmen that follow him out of pure curiosity. On the other side of the mountains, we follow the fate of his sister. As ambitious as her brother is gifted, she embarks on a rebellious quest for greater power through the divine.
⢠The third is "A Place Where Wise Men Live" (1999 CE), a story set at the turn of the century revolving around a tribe along the west coast of The Highlands, The Carapon. ⷠA raven new to the mountains meets a ranger at the beach, slowly getting to know the area as mysteries present themselves around each corner. ⷠOn the other side of the ridge, however, begins the story of a Jiskra maiden who eventually learns how dark and twisted her religion really is.
ā¶ I am also working on several Terran Mysteries, such as "The Watchguard of Saint Grantham", a spinoff book that takes place between the second and third book of my trilogy series. There will be several stories like this that don't quite fit into the main saga and need a stage of their own. Many of them will likely be comics that I upload on itch.io.
ā¶ And beyond this, I am also working on the end-all for the Taram universe, stories that take place during "Fatal Futures". Much of my cosmic horror art is set in the futuristic time period, which I'm very excited for. All of this comic practice will lead me there, one day.
I am a queer author. The majority of my work includes lgbtq+ characters. I am passionate about the development of queer literature, as it is something I have always been seeking since my youth. With my work, I hope to inspire TV shows based off my books. It would make me so happy to see more lgbtq+ representation in our mainstream media. That is a huge dream, one that I'm determined to see through to the end. If you'd like to learn more about my books, I often post lore clues along with my artwork. Adios!
